The Department of Geography & Environmental Systems invites you to a seminar presented by: Dr. Donald Boesch, President, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science
The topic, “Projecting sea-level rise for Maryland,” builds on a report released this summer by a working group chaired by Dr. Boesch for the Maryland Climate Change Commission. Dr. Boesch will also incorporate information from the new report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The accelerating rise in sea level is a critical problem that will impact the state and its citizens over the remainder of this century and beyond.
The seminar will be in Math-Psychology 104 from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Please note the change from our usual location.
