As the University grows and as audit focus spotlights data accuracy and timely reconciliations, I am writing to inform you of some recent changes in Student Business Services (SBS) that will further improve our customer service to the campus.
Effective January 2, 2013 Jean Bunche has agreed to serve as Director of Special Projects for Student Business Services within the Office of Financial Services. This move allows Jean to focus on a number of important needs within SBS including PeopleSoft enhancements, imaging, and reconciliations. Jean will continue to report directly to me. I look forward to continuing to work with her to ensure efficient and accurate operations within the office.
Isabel Garrido and Greg Saba, Assistant Directors of Student Business Services, will now report directly to me and will be jointly responsible for day to day operations. Greg is responsible for Accounting Operations which includes transaction processing, banking, and PeopleSoft functional setup. Isabel is responsible for Cashiering Operations and Customer Service which includes student billing, departmental deposits, and the Student Ombudsman role. Please continue to work with them on any issues that impact your operations.
